What a great title for this painting. I think we are all feeling separated right now. Something is in the way, blocking a reunion. It is translucent, light, hardly there, but powerful nonetheless. There is a woman in the bottom left, laying on her back and reaching up to grab the intruder and try to make it leave, but the intruder has powers that we do not fully understand, and will not be easily overpowered. It may mean going against our natural human instincts and needs to come together. Can we hold it together and make the sacrifices needed to overcome the intruder?
