This painting has a simplicity, a light palette and clean color delineation. The cloud pile of old skin orange, laying on jay jay blue on top of radish pink holds its harmonizing colors without mingling. The rows of light mint green and summer squash yellow hold foreground with a semblance of landscape, The plump caramel verticals stake down the floating blessing with lots of white space above and between. As in “Searching,” I experience an easy co-ordination between color and shape, a solace of colors listening to each other.
