  1. A triangle of amaranth reds, that will not let you go: a scarified surging red dragon head from a grey blue sea patch, a streaming scarring buffalo head and a cardinal hued stroke of intimidation from the far left. Two further patches of red, onlookers really, embed in yellow on upper left. Heightening the energy are the complementary and supporting patches of pale kale green, and lemon to banana yellow, and light amethyst pink, and greying blue. Adding thematic suggestion and a surreal gothic touch are a couple of imposing vague stove pipe profiles, a purple barrier of rocks enclosing the frightening phallic red. A foreground of dirt brown anchors the delightful turmoil in a hint of landscape. At the end of the viewing, what final gives my eyes pause at center, is the rectangular belly button of whitening yellow–ah—finding solace, resting.
    One of my favorites.
