  1. Communion is the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level. The yellow angel holds back isolation efforts long enough for the man’s last communion efforts to take place. The three brown figures on the top left signify family members who have risen to the mental plane where this communion can take place. The third figure surrounded by purple was just reunited and had communion with the dying man who is his brother. The dying man then turns to his right to reunite with his son. The son’s open arms signify his desire to reunite with his father. At long last, the man has his last communion with his son before he passes into the light.
