  1. The expressions just make me laugh. The pink around the head tells me that the child is angry and/or embarrassed. The posture and facial expression tell me the parent is annoyed and determined, with steam pouring from the top of the head. The curved black line defines the boundary. I would guess the child is not allowed to play with the friends right now, one of which is already trying to penetrate the boundary. Pastel colors depict a peaceful scene on the right, while the figures and faces show lots of activity. The other side of the boundary does not look so peaceful. The teal, prickly sky adds another whole dimension of interest. This is a fun and colorful painting.
