Seeing the Light
Yellow partially frames green; blue corners in yellow; a red hot black steam engine rumbles into the harmonies from the left casting a grey shadow foreground. The sunflower yellow light seems more illumination than illuminating, Yellow’s enclosure of green invites, almost, an aerial perspective.
A smooth flow leftwards with forgiving boundaries of the blue yellow green yellow
has a duskiness vying with the light not wanting to leave.
The horizontal (beneath the blue) grey wanting to be purple plum mauve is oddly engaging in the shade of its brighter cousins.
A child (center) points to the light in the sky and calls to his mother and father (top right) to come and see the light! All of the neighbors come out of their homes to see the light. They chatter with excitement about the possibilities of its origin.
