  1. Well, Martin, this is a celebration! It feels very much like Blue Hill that I just left…as if I had done the painting…except only you could have had that being high up in the tree with some little devoted being loving him! Or the elephant in the tree, flamboyance! The watery being is the real welcomer, yes, water can be such a welcomer, draws one right in, if not in getting wet then in getting visually embraced.

    This is celebratory, no question. It is the way we could always feel about coming home. Great reminder for me!!! Hugs,

  2. “Welcome Home” reminds me of Thanksgiving. The wide-open arms of the fellow in blue sets the tone for the happy, welcoming gathering. Everyone seems very happy. It is a time when things can seem overwhelmingly busy, but the chance to be with those we love is well worth the confusion. There is lots of friendship and love in the air. it is a joy to watch the kids play together, and the adults laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
